TRACECA (May 2009 - July 2011)

For more than two years I was based in Baku / Azerbaijan at the IGC Permanent Secretariat. In tight coordination with the European Commission in Brussels I headed a team with the task to identify and promote potential projects for funding under the TRACECA (Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Central Asia) initiative.

While I took responsibility for the Caucasian member countries Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia, plus Turkey and Iran, my two colleagues were responsible for the Southeast European respectively Central Asian member countries.
